Three similar media texts.

The Chris Moyles breakfast show on Radio1.

The chris moyles show, an early morning breakfast show that starts at 06:30 in the morning and runs through till 10 30 is based at all of the listeners who are just waking up and going to work, the show is the prime slot for radio1 and has one of the biggest listener base throughout the bbc radio stations, the jingle to start the show starts without any audio voices but bells tingling and wind based instruments playing, this very quickly erupts into a more rock tune with drums which makes you feel like getting up and like you want to listen to the show, not long after this audio comes into it with a catchy tune singing about how it is cold outsdie the bedroom, the streets are dark and bare and that you should stay inside your bed, this tune carries on and gets you in the mood for listening to the show or getting out of bed, part of the audio says ' Chris is here and so's his team, and aleds tagged along' which is there to let the audience know that it is Chris moyles who is about to have a show on the radio and is introducing it, at the end of the jingle it ends and then a backing beat of the drums and some instruments from the jingle carry on whilst Chris starts talking about the show and what may be in it.



Tim Westwood's 'In new music we trust' show.

Tim Westwood hosts a show called 'in new music we trust' which is on between 21:00 and 22:00 on a tuesday night, it is an 'alternative' program where Tim Westwood talks and plays fresh RnB and Hip-Hop and dancehall tracks, as like every radio program the show starts with a 'Jingle' they have created to let the audience know of what the show is about and what they may hear and find out during the show, unlike other jingles this jingle gets right in there with many voices saying differnet things such as 'Check out in new music we trust', it goes on to say that it is on tuesdays at 9pm which is letting the audience know when the show is, after this it goes on to say that it is with Tim Westwood and 'Go on Tim Westwood' which is introducing the Dj that is heading the show, after a few radio effects like crackling, Tim Westwood introduces the show over the begining of a track where he lets everyone know about how his featured guest is 50 cent and what a few of the things he is going to be playing in the show.


Annie Mac's Mash up

Annie Mac hosts a radio show between 7 and 11 on a friday evening, the begining of her show starts with her Jingle which is a fast moving intense introduction to the listener of what may be in the show and what the show is about, a mix of many tracks and vocals mixed together to create a great start to the show with it saying 'Its friday night' by many people, which gets the listener into the mood that its now the weekend and you can let loose a bit, which is summed up in the blurb of the show being 'a post-pub , pre-club show.
Right after the mix of the jingle it goes into a fast moving track which is interupted half way through when the vocals stop with Annie Mac introducing her show and thanking the previous DJ, she explains that there is going to be fast moving enjoyable music.
